SEO for McHale Agri. This project was a14 week project with McHale Agri which involved SEO services to increase online visibility.
Overall new organic sessions to the website increased by 97% – nearly doubling previous period.
Changes to the Google My Business listing have increased customer actions by 105% over the time (phone call, website visit, request directions) – which includes an increase of 150% website visits, and almost 600 calls to the business (up 62%). This is aimed at local visitors and their key market.
Background on McHale Agri
McHale Agri Forest & Garden was established in Castlebar, Co Mayo in 2008. They are a sales & service centre for outdoor power equipment for the agri forest & garden machinery sector. They are the official authorised Honda Quad / ATV sales & service centre in the west of Ireland.
In addition to the Honda ATV or Farm quad range we also sell & service the Honda lawn & garden machinery range. Although they have customers from all over Ireland, predominantly they serve customers throughout the five counties of Connaught, i.e. Mayo, Galway, Sligo Roscommon & Leitrim.
SEO Challenge
Agile Digital Strategy provided a number of key features needed for the website design and SEO.
Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis
First Step was Keyword Research for SEO and Competitor Analysis. Completing Keyword Research identified a number of keyword terms to target which lead to the pages required on the website. Ideally each keyword phrase should have its own page on the website.
We identified a large number of keywords suitable for McHale Agri to target and agreed the keywords to focus on.
SEO Optimisation
Our SEO services were required to increase the web designs visibility online. We analysed the websites performance at the beginning of the project and Agile Digital Strategy recognised the potential ranking opportunities. We began the process of Keyword Research and Competitor Analysis to identify the key areas that McHale Agri should be targeting.
Once we had this information gathered, our team researched the website topics thoroughly and optimised the content for SEO by using the target keywords we identified in the keyword analysis.
Our team provided well written content, added new web pages, added keywords to the content, increased links, created meta descriptions and edited image details as part of the on-page SEO.
These features resulted in a growth in the websites rankings and increased business for the client.
Google My Business – Local SEO Ranking
We added products and services to the McHale Agri Google My Business page for local SEO to ensure that the business is found for products and services McHale provide when searched for online.
Changes to McHale Agri Google My Business listing have increased customer actions by 105% over the time (phone call, website visit, request directions) – which includes an increase of 150% website visits, and almost 600 calls to the business (up 62%).
For the “Quads” keyword, they are now showing nationally due to this optimisation. This has increased their business nationally.
SEO for McHale Agri Results
Following our work on competitor analysis and completing Keyword Research and SEO optimisation, the SEO work was a great success which resulted in an increase of 97% of daily visitors through organic search.
Their newly SEO Optimised website now can be found easily and organically by potential customers online.
