German Teachers – Membership School Website
A custom membership website design project for (GDI) German Teachers in Ireland, which involved a full website redesign. The client’s new website was designed with Bespoke Configuration of Conference & Events custom pages and annual membership as the primary functionality requirements.
The organisation uses the website to post news, links to educational websites, details on upcoming events with some of the website access only available to member of the organisation.
About German Teachers (GDI)
German Teachers – The Society of German Teachers in Ireland (gdi) is the post-primary professional teaching association for teachers of German in Ireland. It was set up in the late 1960s and is run by a volunteer elected committee of current and retired German teachers.

Functionality integrated with Web Design
Prior to project commencing, we discussed with the client about what kind of style of website they desired and their requirements. From this we produced 2 sample custom design to let the client choose one to proceed to development.
A pop out menu was one request with both German and English on the menu.
Functionality that was requested was Dual membership option, both Paid and Unpaid membership with a log in for each member to access the membership area and payment taken through Stripe.
Online training was provided to ensure that representatives and teachers of were comfortable in editing and updating the website going forward. The training session was recorded and sent on to the participants so they had a reference to look back on if needed in future.

Project Completion
The website is easy to navigate and the menu outlines the sections for ease of use. The membership area prompts to log in or sign up for this section. The imagery and colours really bring the website to life and we are delighted with how the website looks and works across all screen sizes.
