A custom e-commerce website design project for MTT in Limerick, which involved a full website redesign. The client’s new website was designed with Bespoke e-Commerce Shop with integrated stock management, customer re-order and SEO functionality requirements.
About MTT
MTT – Machine Tool Technologies Ireland is one of Ireland’s largest distributors of machine tools, consumables, and aftersales service support. MTT Ltd prides itself on being the supplier of choice across a variety of sectors including medical, pharmaceutical, educational institutions and aerospace.
MTT had an existing eCommerce website that wasn’t generating any sales for any of the tooling components. They have a limited online marketing presence and wish to create a digital strategy plan that will encompass the various marketing funnels including social media to reach a broader market.
They wish to target new clients nationally where there is plenty of scope for expansion, primarily in the machine tooling products. These products have a limited life use and as such, there is scope for repeat business regularly from new clients.
The newly designed responsive website needed to combine a showcase for their Machine tools and Servicing in addition to providing an eCommerce Store.

Prior to project commencing, we discussed with the client about what kind of style of website they desired and their requirements. From this we produced 2 sample custom designs to let the client choose one to proceed to development.
Functionality that was requested was e-commerce website with stock management integrated with payment taken through Stripe. Also the function to reorder products that you had previously ordered on your account.
Onsite training was provided to ensure that staff were comfortable in editing and updating the website going forward. On-Page eCommerce Search Engine Optimisation was completed to ensure the rankings of the website rose after the new website launched. The number of keywords the website ranked for 1 month after launch was double the month prior!
